It is a short-range IR (infrared) sensor.
In other words, the system itself operates using signals that are easily detectable, as they are of the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ type.
The sensor has quick connectors, making installation easy.
It can detect distances of up to 6 centimetres.
The ON/OFF function is controlled by the presence of obstacles.
When an obstacle is placed within the detection area, the sensor detects it and switches the light off.
The light will remain on as long as the sensor does not detect anything within that detection range.
Items it can detect: all types of solid materials, for example, wood, metal, glass, brick, amongst others.
Ideal for use inside cupboards, drawers, wardrobes, kitchen cupboards, filing cabinets, amongst others.
