It is a short range IR (infrared) sensor.
In other words, the system itself works with easily detectable signals, as they are of the yes or no type.
Distances of up to 6cm are easily detectable.
The ON/OFF function is controlled by approaching obstacles.
When you place the obstacle in the detection area, the sensor detects it and turns off the light.
The light will always be on as long as the sensor does not detect anything in that distance area.
Elements you can detect: all types of solid materials, for example: wood, metal, glass, brick, among others.
Ideal for use inside cabinets, drawers, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, filing cabinets, among others.
